1. Plot

It is the most important among the six. It is considered as the life and soul. It has three parts: peripeties, discoveries and suffering. Plot is the representation of the action in the play.

2. Character

It gives qualities to the action. It provides the moral purpose of the agents. There are 4 points to aim in a character:

1. Should be good.

2. The action must be appropriate.

3. It shoud be like the reality.

4. The character should be consistent.

Tuhog: lead role: anak… 1. check 2. check 3. check 4. check

***therefore, the anak is a good character***

***therefore, the father is a bad character***

3. Thought

It is the proving of a particular point or enunciating a general truth. The power of saying what can be said. Thought anwers what is appropriate to the occasion.

Tuhog: The story or the rape case shared to the scriptwriter.

Antigong Agong: Idea of the director of the Bud Dahu Battle.

4. Diction

It is the composition of the verses; the expression of thoughts in words. Parts of the diction are: letter, syllable, conjunction, article, noun, verb, case and speech. THe diction should be clear and not mean.

5. Song/Melody

It is the greatest of the pleasurable accessories of Tragedy.

Tuhog: not so

Antigong Agong: nice

6. Spectacle

Tuhog: movie

Antigong Agong: Live performance
